    Gotham Moran Steers was born Apr. 11 at 7:30 a.m. to Emilio and Jocia Steers of Miami, Fla. The baby weighed 8 lbs. and measured 21 inches long at birth. He is the first grandchild of Port Chester Village Manager Christopher and Maria Fe Steers.

  • Carly Kabot and Reanna Rosenfeld chosen for Albany conference

    Carly Kabot, a sophomore at Blind Brook High School, and Reanna Rosenfeld, a junior at Port Chester High School, have been chosen by the League of Women Voters of Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester to attend the 17th annual Students Inside Albany (SIA) Conference to be held May 21-24. The NY State League of Women Voters and the local chapter underwrite all the costs of attending the conference.

    A June wedding is planned for Valerie Ianello and John Melfa of Port Chester.

    The couple first met when they were students at King Street Elementary School. Lifelong residents of Port Chester, Valerie and John graduated from Port Chester High School, Classes of 2002 and 2000 respectively.

    Reanna Rosenfeld, a Port Chester High School junior, has been accepted to attend the Students Inside Albany Conference May 21-24. She will represent the Rye, Rye Brook, Port Chester chapter of the League of Women Voters
  • PCHS freshman debaters earn medal in Bump tourney

    Members of the Port Chester High School Debate Team competed in the Malcolm A. Bump Memorial Tournament at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose on Saturday, Feb. 4. Fifteen schools from New York and New Jersey participated in the tournament.
