After filming scenes of their movie in Rye Brook last month, on Nov. 3 Freeheld Productions came to the Village of Port Chester to shoot an important scene of "Freeheld" outside Village Hall on Grace Church Street.

Rye Brook author teams up with friend for third novel
John Nuckel has written a third book, this one less of a financial thriller and more of a straight thriller than the other two. It is called Blind Trust and was published using Create Space, the publishing division of Amazon.

Someone stole a necklace from a boutique at Rye Ridge Plaza.

The necklace was noticed missing on Saturday, Nov. 1, and after reviewing video surveillance, the owner of LV2BFIT discovered the theft took place on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

The various initials-DNA, NPL, DNS-stood for very different attributes, but no matter how you sugar coat their meaning, they all ultimately came down to the same thing when applied to the Port Chester High School soccer Rams: They wuz robbed.
