How to submit a letter to the editor
The Westmore News encourages letters to the editor expressing your opinion on any local, regional or international issues or events that concern you. Letters must include your name and telephone number for verification purposes. Letters are due by Tuesday at noon. All letters related to an election are limited to 500 words starting four issues prior to the election. We do not accept letters relating to an election the week prior to that election. Throughout the year, no letters from the same person will be accepted two weeks in a row. The Westmore News reserves the right to edit or reject any letters.

I am writing in response to the recent advertisement released by Starwood Capital regarding the proposed development at the former United Hospital site. Its multi-colored ads highlight the many potential benefits the project will bring to Port Chester. However, I find several inconsistencies with its claims and feel compelled to comment.
