Back in the June 18 edition of this newspaper, I wrote at length about the fiscal dangers posed to Blind Brook School District taxpayers by the proposed 110-unit housing development in the Reckson Office Park-a proposal that would flood the District with new students and require more facilities, more teachers, more administrators, and beyond. I could not put a dollar figure on the burden, but I noted the shockingly high rise in property taxes that was associated with the construction of the Belle Fair community. Friday, July 24, 2015

On behalf of all the parishioners of Our Lady of Mercy Church, I want to thank our dear Fr. Timothy Wiggins and Fr. Larry Naskar for all their hard work and time they put into our church to make it as beautiful as it is today and for the love and respect they have given to each and every one of us here at Our Lady of Mercy parish.
