With Gene Ceccarelli, neighbors come first
I had the pleasure to be Gene Ceccarelli's neighbor for over 20 years. During that time I was continuously impressed with Gene's concern for the well-being of the neighborhood and community.

Gene Ceccarelli: A mayor who will care for his community
Gene Ceccarelli: A mayor who will care for his community

Gene Ceccarelli is a good man. I have known Gene for several years now and he has shown to be a man who cares about the community. He is a devoted family man and really cares about the well-being of Port Chester. Even his last name has the word "care" in it: "CecCARElli."

Praise for P. C. DPW
So far it has been an horrific winter. One many of us, including myself , would love to see over. However, we are very fortunate that our Department of Public Works under the expert and devoted supervision of Rocky Morabito has made it less of a pill to swallow.

Port Chester's Mayoral election is quickly approaching on Mar. 18 and voters need to think about how the election result will affect our village.

From Our Readers In Port Chester, what happened to the 'presumption of innocence'?
If you're a homeowner in Port Chester, odds are you already know that you may need to apply for a new Certificate of Occupancy because the one you thought you had (and paid for) has ironically been nullified by the SAME village that issued it.

Gene Ceccarelli: A true public servant
As the former Executive Director of the Port Chester, Rye, Rye Brook Council of Community Services, I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of community leaders, volunteers, public officials and Port Chester residents.

Dennis Pilla: A record we can trust
While I applaud all the candidates who are running to be Port Chester's next mayor, I am writing in support of Dennis Pilla for Mayor of Port Chester.

Gene Ceccarelli : A man of integrity
Port Chester has been very fortunate to have had Neil Pagano as its mayor over the past two years. Mayor Pagano has quietly worked with village staff to modernize and rationalize one department after another in the Village of Port Chester.

Dennis Pilla's remarkable number of accomplishments
Since I only have 500 words, I'll tell you only a few things Dennis Pilla accomplished while mayor. I have at least 36 entries in my little spiral.

Vote for Dennis Pilla to move the village forward
Mar. 18 is Election Day for Mayor of Port Chester. I hope we can move the Village of Port Chester forward leaving senior citizens on fixed incomes and young families with hope that they can remain here if they so choose.

The real transformation of P. C. began under Mayor Dennis Pilla
I moved my residence and architectural practice to Port Chester in 2006 after studying the village for a national developer. Sadly the developer shied away from investing in the town because of its past political history, but I fell in love with Port Chester.

A Democratic boost for an independent candidate
Last week Democrat Gary Sullivan extolled Gene Ceccarelli on these pages.

Say 'no' on Election Day to a $40M municipal center
Does Port Chester need a new $40 million municipal center?

To me, the answer is a simple "NO"!

No need for policy change for private aircraft
No one needs to ask the FAA to investigate the Jet Blue incident reported in the Westmore News on Feb. 13 and no one should ask for rule changes for private pilot operations.
