A Naked Village: New neighborhood supermarket gives perks like free rides home
When I was younger, not all of the older adults in the village had cars. In fact, a lot of people didn't have them nor did they have family members who drove, and cabs were only for the wealthy. There were many stores within walking distance of just about any location in Port Chester.

Dog park is among many worthy projects
During the past year and a half or so, there were several projects presented to the Board of Trustees for approval. One of them was a 2013 proposal for a dog park/ run in Abendroth Park.

Thanks for the memory
When sitting down to read my Nov. 21 issue of the Westmore News, I was so touched to see a mention of our family restaurant (China Lang) in the Dining Out & About section. My parents, Kay and Lillian Mar, opened the restaurant in 1952 where my siblings and I all had our turn working in the family business.
