On Monday, Apr. 13, at 11 a. m., Park Avenue School was evacuated to Port Chester High School as a result of a gas leak at PAS. Within minutes of announcing the emergency evacuation to the school, our bravest and finest of Port Chester were in front of our school securing that we safely made our way to Ryan Stadium and assuring that all had left the building. Repeal Port Chester code enforcement law. It is unnecessary. New York State code enforcement works for the entire state and should therefore be more than sufficient for Port Chester. This law creates more expenses for the taxpayers than it is worth. (1 comments) Friday, April 17, 2015
