PCMS' new way to teach writing
It has only been a couple months since Lauren Martinez introduced Chromebooks into her classroom and already the English Language Arts teacher cannot imagine going back to teaching without them. Encouraging collaboration between students, quickly editing students' assignments, allowing for in-class work on long-term projects-Chromebooks have become an essential tool for the Port Chester 6th grade teacher.

Career firefighters from surrounding municipalities joined concerned Port Chester and Rye Brook residents in packing the courtroom where the Port Chester Board of Trustees was meeting Tuesday night to talk about the short supply of paid firemen currently serving the Village of Port Chester and fulfilling the fire service contract with the Village of Rye Brook.
