SCHOOL TAX NOTICE

2014/2015

This is a courtesy reminder to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District, the Blind Brook Union Free School District or the Rye Neck Union Free School District that the second half of the school tax is due by January 31, 2015. Mailed payments must be post marked by the US Post Office no later than January 31, 2015. Due to the fact that January 31, 2015 falls on a Saturday, payments may be made in person at the Tax Office on Monday, February 2, 2015, with no penalty.

Please be advised that after February 2, there is a mandatory 10% penalty which cannot be waived for any reason.

When paying in person, please bring in the entire school tax bill with the first half "PAID" stamp on it. When mailing the payment, send your check with the second half payment stub in the envelope provided. If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box on the stub.

§ 250-19.1.I(2) The maximum allowable side height setback ratio is 1.30. The applicant proposes to construct the new house with a 1.71 side height setback ratio. Therefore a .41 side height setback ratio variance is requested.
