B. B. football loses first game of the season
The Blind Brook Trojans football team lost their first game of the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 7 by a score of 38-14 against the Bronxville Broncos. The game was originally supposed to have been played the day before, but due to very hot weather, it was moved to the next day.

They didn't win a league or Westchester Baseball Association championship and they didn't have an outstanding record (18-12-1 overall and 13-6 in the WBA), but the ever-improving Port Chester Youth Baseball League 9-U Pirates nonetheless had a summer filled with improvement and memorable moments during the recently concluded travel team season.

Steven Carias scored off an assist from Steven Hernandez four minutes into the second overtime to lead the stumbling soccer Rams to a 4-3 win over perennial rival Byram Hills Monday, Sept. 8 at Port Chester High School after P. C. blew a 3-1 halftime lead.
