Three strikes and you are out in baseball. But three losses in a row do not a baseball season make-especially when the weather conditions are more conducive to midwinter skiing in Vail, Aspen, Snowmass or Killington.

Lady Rams take 2 of first 3 games with eye on winning league title
The promising Lady Rams varsity softball team opened their season by winning two of their first three games, losing their non-league opener to a talented Rye Neck team in an away game last Wednesday (4/2) and storming back to beat Harrison at home Friday (4/4)-both tune ups for Port Chester's first league game Monday, a 6-4 away win over Briarcliff.

First-year Blind Brook coaches look to build track program
A day after their loss on Monday to Valhalla High School, the Blind Brook varsity track team used practice time to fine-tune their skills: passing the baton more seamlessly, throwing the shot farther and just generally running faster.

B. B. boys' lacrosse starts season 2-2
It was a busy first week for the Blind Brook High School boys' varsity lacrosse team, as they played four games in seven days. The team has started off the season with a 2-2 record, already matching last year's number of wins.
