2018-2019 VILLAGE OF RYE BROOK TAX

SECOND INSTALLMENT REMINDER

This is a courtesy reminder to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Village of  Rye  Brook that the second installment of the village tax is due by February 28, 2019. Payments must be  POSTMARKED BY THE U S POST OFFICE NO LATER THAN February 28, 2019.

Please be advised that after February 28, there is a mandated  2% penalty by New York State Law, which cannot be waived for any reason.

For your convenience, there are three ways for you to make payments.

1) You may mail your check in the envelope provided.  Be sure to include the second stub of the bill.  If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box.  Payments must be postmarked by the US Post office no later than February 28, 2019 to avoid the penalty.

2) You may pay in person at the Tax Office, 222 Grace Church Street, 3rd floor, Port Chester during our regular office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:00PM). Please bring the entire bill with you.

3) You may pay on line.  You may pay by a credit card. (Be advised that there is a fee).You may also pay by electronic transfer (ACH).  Check the back of the bill for instructions.

1) Section 345-15 B, Schedule of permitted signs states, “Other commercial and industrial districts” permits “1 wall sign on each public street or municipal off-street parking lot”. One wall sign exists on the front of the building facing King Street.

2) Section 345-15 E (1) “A Wall sign shall be attached or incorporated in a building wall. Such sign shall not: (b) “Be located above the second story of a building wall.” The two additional wall signs extend above the second story.

Your Sign Permit Application to install to install two additional wall signs on the front of the building facing Kings Street is hereby DENIED for non-compliance with the Code of the Village of Port Chester, section 345-15 B & E which allows one wall sign per street frontage and not to be located above the second story.
