Letter: 6 votes for Joan=6 votes for success in Port Chester
February 28, 2019 at 8:56 a.m.
When Joan Grangenois-Thomas announced that she is running for a Port Chester Village Board of Trustee position, I was very excited and optimistic for the future of the village. I have had many conversations with Joan regarding the rezoning and developments planned for the village. Like many parents with school-age children in the village, I am concerned about the impact it will have on our schools. Joan is acutely aware of the overcrowding and underfunding we experience in our schools.
And, like many homeowners in the village, I am concerned that we will be left to pay more than our fair share for the development. Joan understands these concerns, she shares these concerns. Joan brings a balanced view of sustainable development, one that supports all of Port Chester’s residents and keeps the village moving forward. That is why I invite all Port Chester residents, supporters of our schools in particular, to join me on Mar. 19 and give six votes for success in Port Chester. Give six votes for Joan!
