Two stores allegedly sell Juuls and booze to minors

When Port Chester police allegedly received numerous complaints about the Four Seasons at 2 S. Main St. selling illicit merchandise to minors, they conducted a surveillance of the store on Tuesday, June 18.
After officers noticed several people who appeared to be under 21 shopping at the store, they sent an undercover minor in at around 7:30 p.m. to try buying the nicotine device. According to the police report, the 44-year-old Four Seasons employee, Ahmed Mayes, sold the minor a Juul device and pods.
Later that night, at 8:45 p.m., officers sent a minor into the Citgo Gas Station at 528 Willett Ave. to determine if the employees would sell alcohol to patrons under 21. According to the police report, the 39-year-old cashier, Amar Rajput, did sell the undercover minor a 12-pack of Modelos.
Mayes, a Brooklyn resident, Rajput, a Greenwich, Conn. resident, and both establishments were charged with selling prohibited substances to minors, misdemeanors.
