Gary Mecca: Sanitation worker
Gary Mecca, 68, of Port Chester, died July 25, 2022 at Greenwich Hospital.
He was born in Port Chester July 10, 1954 to Anthony and Helen Guido Mecca and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1972.
Mr. Mecca was a sanitation worker for the City of Rye for 26 years before retiring in 2015.
He is survived by his brother, Anthony Mecca, and father, Anthony Mecca, Sr., and was predeceased by his wife, Jay Mecca, in 2017.
The funeral will be Sat., Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester; interment will be private.
Arrangements are by Joseph Tutera Funeral Home, Inc. in Port Chester.
