Rye Town Assessor Denise Knauer and her husband Lowell try the French fries and burgers at the new Clydesdale Pub & Grill at 435 North Main St. The Knauers sampled food from many of the 34 local restaurants participating in the 6th annual Taste of Port Chester on Sunday, June 5. The rain Sunday afternoon did deter attendees. Only around 200 people participated, less than half as many as last year. Still, Tamarack Tower Foundation was able to raise about $5,000 to benefit the Port Chester public schools.
