Rye Brook Community Tag Sale will take place Sat., July 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at about 40 homes in Rye Brook and Port Chester that have previously registered to participate. Rain date will be July 24. Every year, hundreds of useful items are thrown away in bulk trash. To encourage people to give these items a second life, the Village of Rye Brook Sustainability Committee has organized this tag sale event. A roster of participating homes/addresses can be found at

Port Chester Recreation will present Concerts in the Park in Lyon Park Friday nights, 7:30-9 p.m. Events will include July 16: Julie Corbalis Band with classic rock, r&b; July 23: Suburban Chaos with 70’s-90’s rock & roll; July 30: Goza with Latin music and Aug. 6: The Bookends with classic rock. Kiwanis International of Port Chester/Rye Brook has announced that their annual picnic is back and will take place Tues., July 27, at 6 p.m. in Crawford Park, Rye Brook.
