Since almost all events have been cancelled or postponed, the following information about organizations we usually list in our calendars is being substituted:

All shows at The Capitol Theatre and Garcia’s in Port Chester are canceled until mid-April. At The Capitol, Nate Bargatze, originally Sun., Apr. 5, postponed to Fri., June 19. Sunrise Day Camp Benefit featuring Jessie’s Girl originally Thurs., Apr. 23 postponed to Thurs., Sept. 24. Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons postponed from Sun., May 17 to Sun., Nov. 22. Original tickets will be honored on the new date. There are currently no upcoming events at Garcia’s.

The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library is closed until further notice.

The Clay Art Center in Port Chester will be closed until further notice. The CAC is busy creating ways to bring together its community through online learning and engagement which it will be launching next week. The Center has created an NCECA virtual gallery in their online shop to purchase the works from their NCECA booth to support artists. Visit clayartcenter.org.

Easter in the Park originally scheduled for Mar. 28 in Port Chester has been cancelled.

Bingo that usually takes place Tuesdays at Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School Cafeteria has been cancelled until further notice.

SPRYE events are canceled until further notice; however, the SPRYE office will remain open. For the protection of its volunteers SPRYE will also be suspending volunteer rides to appointments, shopping and other errands. However, if you need groceries, medication or other essential items, call the office at 914-481-5706 and they will be delivered. If you have a medical need or feel ill, the office can arrange transportation to get you to your health care provider through a car service or taxi.

The SPRYE team is looking for new and creative opportunities to engage members during this time, such as online trivia contests or crossword puzzles. Please continue to look for updates from the office and please call or email the director@sprye.org with any questions.

Rye Nature Center is closed until further notice; however, the grounds will be open from dawn until dusk. They encourage you to spend time outside enjoying nature and exploring the trails. The playground and STEM challenge course will be closed until further notice amid concerns about the spread of coronavirus.

Rye Arts Center is closed through Apr. 1. The Brigitte Loritz Retrospective reception for the Port Chester watercolorist has been postponed until Apr. 18 from 1-3 p.m.

Wainwright House in Rye has suspended all classes and upcoming workshops until further notice. Wainwright is offering online classes in meditation and yoga. Register online under daily classes at least one hour before the start time of the class at www.wainwright.org.

The Westchester Children’s Museum in Rye is closed until further notice. For updates go to discoverwcm.org.

The Bruce Museum in Greenwich is closed thru Apr. 6.

Mamaroneck Artists Guild gallery is closed. They will evaluate at a later date. The Solo Show by Joseph Blumstein: Imaging Kabbalah is rescheduled for January 2021. The White Plains Public Library is closed until further notice. The library is moving many of its April programs onto the Zoom platform, including book groups, wellness programs, technology workshops, and more. Library staff hope you will give it a try; it's simple to get started and they'll have tech support available.

Common Ground Concerts, which has concerts at the First Unitarian Society of Westchester in Hastings-on-Hudson and a few concerts each year at Irvington Theater in Irvington, has announced that the remainder of their spring season has been postponed.

All adult weekly and monthly support groups at Gilda’s Club Westchester in White Plains will be facilitated via teleconference. Children’s teens and family programs, as well as their healthy lifestyle programs and educational lectures/workshops will be suspended until they resume on-site facilitation again. www.gildasclubwestchester.org.

The Westchester Italian Cultural Center in Tuckahoe has decided to postpone all programs at least for the next week. For updates go to wiccny.org.

All films and programs at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville are canceled until further notice. www.burnsfilmcenter.org.

The Westchester Philharmonic’s Apr. 19 concert is postponed. A make-up date will be announced in the coming weeks. Subscribers’ tickets will be honored then.

Jazz Forum Arts in Tarrytown has postponed concerts until further notice and postponed the cancelled shows to later dates in 2020.

Spring Crafts at Lyndhurst has been rescheduled from May 1-3 to July 24-26.

The committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Greenwich Hospital Benefit on Fri., May 15 at the Greenwich Country Club. Dr. James Brunetti and the Arthur and Elizabeth Martinez Family have graciously agreed to serve as next year's Benefit honorees. The committee looks forward to honoring them and celebrating in May 2021.
