To further round out the Port Chester restaurant scene, a Thai eatery will eventually be coming to North Pearl Street. It will occupy the previously vacant space in the block between Broad Street and Westchester Avenue where new windows were installed in recent weeks.

A decade ago-maybe more-there were two Thai restaurants on North Main Street which both closed. One of them lasted about six or seven years. That was before the village's downtown renaissance. At this stage of the game, a Thai restaurant will no doubt be welcomed with open arms.
