  • All Souls Parish welcomes full-time progressive pastor, Rev. Kathy Genus

    All Souls Parish/The Presbyterian Church of Port Chester is proud to announce the arrival of its permanent, full-time “called” pastor, Reverend Kathy Genus. Reverend Genus replaces Dr. Jane Ann Groom, who served as interim pastor for 22 months after the retirement of longtime Reverend John Bruce Baker. Her first service at All Souls Parish (55 Parkway Dr.) will take place on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.

    The Westchester Children’s Museum in Rye has announced the launch of its Pop Up Shop, scheduled to open Dec. 1. The Museum is partnering with Melissa & Doug Toys and Scattered Books of Chappaqua to offer a colorful, vibrant, enriching selection of toys and books for infants through middle school-aged children. 
  • Alex Payan joins FSW as advancement director

    Family Services of Westchester (FSW) has appointed Alex Payan as Director of Advancement. In that position Payan will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and nurturing FSW’s initiatives and programs, leading the design of fundraising programs for philanthropic and government grant support, and communicating FSW’s compelling stories and messaging to a diverse set of existing and potential stakeholders and partners.

    Due to her commitment to serving the community, Anne Capeci has been chosen as grand marshal by the Columbus Day Celebration Committee for the 2018 Port Chester/Rye Brook Columbus Day Parade. The procession will be Sunday, Oct. 7, at 2:00 p.m. with an Oct. 14 rain date.
