Letter: Hearty support for Payan

I write to heartily endorse Alex Payan in Port Chester’s upcoming trustee election. Alex is exceptionally well-qualified to serve on the Port Chester Board of Trustees. He boasts several advanced degrees and has extensive business marketing experience—experience that will prove invaluable to promote our village’s positives and keep our bustling downtown thriving. Alex is hardworking, indefatigable, and, most importantly, collegial. He will work with the other trustees, pushing hard for advancement and demanding progress, not obstruction.
A resident of Port Chester since a young child, Alex understands our village; he knows its people. Alex is a true community organizer with a proven track record of leadership and results. He serves as the Executive Director/Founder of Port Chester Community Gardens, former director of Port Chester Cares, and a mentor to many young teens in the Town of Rye. He genuinely cares about our village and its future. Port Chester’s success is his priority. “Community First” is more than a campaign slogan for Alex—it’s how he lives his life.
Alex has proven himself and deserves our support. Trustee Alex Payan will be a role model for our community. He will represent our village with pride.
