The Blind Brook High School Senate is hosting the Senior Fashion Show Fri., Apr. 28 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, 840 King St., Rye Brook. Tickets are $15 at the door and there will also be raffles for people to participate in. All proceeds are going to The Sharing Shelf, a local clothing bank for children in Westchester.

The Village of Rye Brook in cooperation with Blind Brook Roots and Shoots Club will host a 2023 Arbor Day Ceremony, Fri., Apr. 28 at 11 a.m. in Harkness Park, adjacent to the Blind Brook Middle/High School campus, 840 King St. All are invited to a brief tree planting ceremony to celebrate Arbor Day in Rye Brook.

Rye Brook Recreation has announced that signups are taking place now for Summer Day Camp for boys and girls entering K-6^th grade and Teen Travel Camp for boys and girls entering 7^th-10^th grade. Camps run July 3-Aug 11, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The Early Bird 6-week discounted rate ends Apr. 30. Clay Art Center, 40 Beech St., Port Chester will offer weekly themed half & full day Summer Camps for children & teens ages 7-15 June 26-Aug. 18. Campers will be shown a variety of techniques on and off the wheel. Camps for ages 7-11 will focus on handbuilding and sculpture; camps for ages 12-15 will focus on wheel throwing and handbuilding. Sample camps include Wheel and Beyond, Surface Design Time, Candy Crush, Amazing Animals, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Ancient Architects and many more. In the classroom, aspiring young artists will develop their imagination and build confidence while working in the transformational medium of clay.
