Pelham Art Center at 155 Fifth Ave. is displaying a new public art installation, “The Conversation Sculpture” by Brooklyn artist Musa Hixson. It is a 9 ft. x 6 ft. x 6 ft. steel sculpture that mimics a blooming flower with three seats enclosed in its frame. The interactive piece intends to facilitate new connections and encourage people to think differently about public space. Rye Arts Center at 51 Milton Road has announced that registration is open for their Summer Musical Theater for age 8-13. Camp will run Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-3 p.m. featuring the following shows: Aladdin, July 24-28; Beauty & the Beast, July 31-Aug. 4; Lion King, Aug. 7-11 and Seussical Aug. 14-18. $475/week. Friends of Rye Nature Center announces that online registration is open for their Summer Program. At this time, they are limiting registration to four weeks per child for day camp and three weeks for Paddle Adventure Camp. Full payment due upon registration. Summer Day Camp includes Explorers (preschool and K), Discoverers (grades K-5) and Naturalists in Training (grades 6 & 7). Paddle Adventure Camp is for campers entering grades 8, 9 or 10 and runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fee for Explorers is $425; for Discoverers fee is $450; for NIT fee is $495 and for Paddle Adventure Camp fee is $600.
