The 26th Annual Asian-American Heritage Festival will take place Sat., June 3, 12-6 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. Rain or shine. This cultural festival will showcase Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Thai and Vietnamese cultures with live songs, dances, musical performances, Asian arts and cultural exhibits, Chinese paper cutting and origami, and ethnic foods. The Westchester County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at Union Church of Pocantico Hills, 555 Bedford Rd., Tarrytown, Sat., June 10, 3-5 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. Chill Bucket Productions is calling for film submissions for its 2nd Below the Line Film Festival. Westchester Children’s Museum, 100 Playland Pkwy, Rye, is presenting A World of Possibilities organized by The Arc Westchester. Pelham Art Center at 155 Fifth Ave. is displaying a new public art installation, “The Conversation Sculpture” by Brooklyn artist Musa Hixson. It is a 9 ft. x 6 ft. x 6 ft. steel sculpture that mimics a blooming flower with three seats enclosed in its frame. Summer Camps & Programs

HEAT Baseball Camp will be offered by Westchester County Parks at V.E. Macy Park in Ardsley this summer. Session 1: July 10-14; Session 2: July 17-21: Session 3: July 24-28 and Session 4: July 31-Aug. 8. Sessions run 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Players must be 8-13 years old as of May 1, 2023. Players will be divided into two groups by age—8-11 and 12-15. HEAT Basketball Camp will cover all areas of the game including fielding, pitching, hitting, base running, strength and conditioning, game situations and baseball IQ. The early bird registration fee is $300 per camper, per week through May 31. On June 1, the fee increases to $325 per camper per week. Westchester County’s Learn to Swim Program for children ages 3-14 is open for registration. New this year are sessions for adults beginning at age 15. The program will take place at all four county-owned pools—Saxon Woods in White Plains, Sprain Ridge and Tibbetts Brook, both in Yonkers. A later date will be announced for registration at Willson’s Woods in Mt. Vernon. Learn to Swim for children will be held in two sessions—Tues.-Thurs., with Session 1 Mon., July 3 (no class Thurs., July 4)-Thurs., July 20. Session 2 will run Tues., July 25-Thurs. Aug. 10.
