Earth Week: Help Beautify the Senior Center was postponed from Apr. 29 due to rainy weather. It will take place Sun., May 7 from 9-11 a.m. Bring your entire family and come out to celebrate Earth Week with the Village of Rye Brook and the Town of Rye to beautify the Rye Brook Senior Center at 32 Garibaldi Place with new pollinator plantings. Rye Arts Center will host Studio 51: Party with a Purpose Sat., May 13, 7-10 p.m. at Garcia’s, 145 Westchester Ave., Port Chester. Garcia’s will be transformed into RAC Studio 51, their version of the iconic 70’s nightclub and an homage to their beloved building at 51 Milton Rd., Rye. Enjoy spectacular food, drink and music as well as interactive art studios, all while honoring three women who have made an impact on the Rye community—Sue Autry, Anne Fumasoli and Amy Vijayanagar.
