Bicycle Sundays will take place on the Bronx River Parkway May 14, 21, June 4, 11, 18, 25, Sept. 10 17 & 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Events begin at Westchester County Center in White Plains and continue to Exit 22 at Scarsdale Road, Yonkers. The Parkway is closed during Bicycle Sundays.

Wespac will host 75 Years of Nakba Mon., May 15. The 44th Annual Polish Heritage Festival will be held Sun., May 21, 12-6 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla. Free. Rain or shine. Sat., May 20, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Rochambeau Park/Yorktown Grange, 99 Mamaroneck Rd., Yorktown Heights, the Yorktown Heritage Preservation Commission/Yorktown 250 in partnership with the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association and the Yorktown Grange will commemorate the role that French General Count de Rochambeau and the French Army played in aiding General Washington and the Continental Army in the fight for freedom from British rule. Visitors will be able to discuss with a Rochambeau national scholar, French dignitaries and living history teachers the French army’s role in winning our independence. Guests will interact with members of the French, Continental and British forces in uniform and observe drills and firing of muskets. Pelham Art Center at 155 Fifth Ave. is displaying a new public art installation, “The Conversation Sculpture” by Brooklyn artist Musa Hixson. It is a 9 ft. x 6 ft. x 6 ft. steel sculpture that mimics a blooming flower with three seats enclosed in its frame. Summer Camps & Programs

HEAT Baseball Camp will be offered by Westchester County Parks at V.E. Macy Park in Ardsley this summer. Session 1: July 10-14; Session 2: July 17-21: Session 3: July 24-28 and Session 4: July 31-Aug. 8. Sessions run 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Players must be 8-13 years old as of May 1, 2023. Players will be divided into two groups by age—8-11 and 12-15. HEAT Basketball Camp will cover all areas of the game including fielding, pitching, hitting, base running, strength and conditioning, game situations and baseball IQ. The early bird registration fee is $300 per camper, per week through May 31. On June 1, the fee increases to $325 per camper per week. Westchester County’s Learn to Swim Program for children ages 3-14 is open for registration. New this year are sessions for adults beginning at age 15. The program will take place at all four county-owned pools—Saxon Woods in White Plains, Sprain Ridge and Tibbetts Brook, both in Yonkers. A later date will be announced for registration at Willson’s Woods in Mt. Vernon. Learn to Swim for children will be held in two sessions—Tues.-Thurs., with Session 1 Mon., July 3 (no class Thurs., July 4)-Thurs., July 20. Session 2 will run Tues., July 25-Thurs. Aug. 10. Westchester County Sports Camp enrollment for Slam Dunk Basketball Camp, JustinTime Baseball Summer Camp, HEAT Baseball Camp and Hole-in-One Jr. Golf Camp are open now. Slam Dunk Basketball Camp will be held at Westchester County Center for children entering grades 3-9 as of Sept. 2023. Four week-long sessions run Mon., July 10-Fri., Aug. 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. $375 per camper per session (includes lunch). JustinTime Baseball Summer Camp provides half-day instruction for children ages 5-15 at Scout Field in Bronxville with six four-day sessions Mon., June 26-Thurs., Aug. 8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $400 per camper per session. HEAT Baseball Camp for children ages 8-15 as of May 1, 2023 will be held at VF Macy Park, Ardsley. Four-week sessions run Mon., July 10-Fri., Aug. 4, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. $300 per camper per session. Hole-in-One Junior Golf Camp will be held at all six Westchester County golf courses for campers ages 10-17.
