Mahine Kohbod Fisk, 96, a longtime Greenwich, Conn. resident and former Port Chester High School teacher, died Oct. 25, 2023.
She was born in Tehran, Iran Sept. 18,1927, she received an MBA from NYU and taught French at Port Chester High School for 25 years.

Ms. Fisk was fluent in French, Spanish and Italian, which facilitated her extensive travels to Europe during her summer breaks.
She was also an avid theatergoer and frequented New York City to see as many plays as possible, especially musicals.
After retirement, she continued to teach French to adults in her home.
She leaves behind a brother, Parvis Kohbod, and her former husband, Edward Fisk.
She was predeceased by a son, Bijan Nahavandi, and a brother, Saeed Kohbod.
A memorial service was held Nov. 16 at the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich.
