The Rye Brook Recreation Department held its second annual pumpkin decorating contest. All entries were received by Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. With approximately 20 entries, it was very difficult to pick the winners, according to Kathy Laoutaris, recreation supervisor. The winning entries will be displayed at Village Hall, 938 King St. Ava Benoit, 12, of Windsor Road, with the scary pumpkin she decorated which won Rye Brook’s contest.
