A partygoer at a get-together on Eldredge Street allegedly threw a beer bottle at another guest’s face on Sunday, June 2.

Port Chester police were called to the party at 8:11 p.m. As they approached the home in their vehicles, they allegedly saw a man hiding from them between two cars before walking away. After the officers met with the party hosts and determined Zefirino Lima Flores was that man and the alleged culprit, they surveilled the area and ultimately found him on Midland Avenue.

According to the police report, the 39-year-old appeared to be highly intoxicated and was having difficulty communicating his side of the story. He ultimately allegedly revealed that he was at the party, got into an argument and threw a bottle at someone; but he claimed the bottle did not actually strike the victim. However, when the victim arrived to identify the alleged culprit, he allegedly had a bloody lip from where the bottle hit him.

The 218 King St. resident was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony.
