Three times the limit

On Monday, Sept. 25, a Port Chester officer was on patrol on Willett Avenue and allegedly spotted a grey Honda Odyssey swerving across the double yellow line.

Too close for comfort

A Port Chester officer on patrol on Sunday, Sept. 24, allegedly observed a Ford Edge traveling behind another vehicle at an unreasonably close distance, as well as having an object hanging from the rear-view mirror that obstructed the driver’s view.

Turning into trouble

While traveling down North Main Street on Sunday, Sept. 24, a patrolling Port Chester police officer allegedly witnessed the driver of a Toyota 4Runner perform an unsafe turn without signaling onto Adee Street, as well as having non-transparent side windows.

Mischief managed

On Thursday, Sept. 21, Port Chester police arrested a 26-year-old for his alleged involvement in several cases of criminal mischief relating to property damage.

Trespasser arrested

Port Chester police were called to a vacant property on Irving Avenue after the property manager reportedly saw a man leave the building on Friday, Sept. 22.

Three out-of-towners charged

Three out-of-towners were arrested for drunk driving and inflicting property damage.

Alleged drunk driver misses the road

Port Chester police officers were dispatched to Locust Avenue, responding to a call reporting that a car had driven across the front lawn of a home on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Abandoned but occupied

Port Chester police officers were called to an abandoned building at 148 Westchester Ave. where a woman had allegedly broken a window to enter on Monday, Sept. 11.

Three out-of-towners charged

Over the last week, three out-of-towners were arrested for drunk driving, petit larceny and more.

Collision at the plaza

Rye Brook police responded to a minor car accident on Monday, Sept. 18, at the entrance to the Washington Park Plaza at 2:02 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Driving after drinks

Port Chester police were called to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Willett and Terrace avenues on Monday, Sept. 4. Upon arriving at 7:36 p.m., officers met 29-year-old Melvin Salvador Perez.

One car, two arrests

Port Chester police officers were called to an accident in the area of Breckenridge Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 5, during which a vehicle had allegedly struck a fire hydrant.

Refusal to leave

On Saturday, Sept. 9, Port Chester officers were called to El Palacio de Maria on North Main Street by an employee who stated that a man was under the influence of alcohol and had allegedly been attempting to start a fight with an employee.

Arrested for exposure

A Port Chester police officer allegedly spotted a man fully unclothed walking down Putnam Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 7 while on patrol.

Stolen detergent

An asset protection associate for the Stop & Shop on Waterfront Place called Port Chester police on Sunday, Sept. 10, to report an alleged larceny in progress by a repeat offender.
