A 24-year-old was arrested on Thursday, June 6, for allegedly violating an order of protection, and he allegedly has a long track record of committing the same crime.
According to a Greenwich Free Press report, the Rye Brook resident happened to be in Stamford Superior Court in Connecticut at the same time as the Greenwich police, who had an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant allegedly involved an incident from Jan. 1, in which a victim claimed he called her several times despite the protective order.
According to the news article, Greenwich police also arrested him in March for violating a protective order and for threatening the victim. He allegedly also faces similar charges from the Stamford police due to another incident in February.
James José Venia was charged with a felony count of violating a protective order.
