COVID-19 cases in town as of Wednesday, Apr. 22

This past week, Port Chester saw a significant increase in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. As of Wednesday, Apr. 22, the Village had 725 cases, an increase of 204 since last Wednesday. The week before there was an increase of 166 cases.
In Rye Brook, the number of cases increased by 24 for a total of 127 people confirmed to have the virus. Last week, the number went up by 22.
There is a total of 852 cases between the two villages. Governor Andrew Cuomo has mandated schools and nonessential businesses remain closed through at least May 15.
In New York, there were more than 257,000 cases at press time, with 25,200 of them within Westchester.
