COVID-19 cases in town as of Wednesday, Apr. 29

There are now over 1,000 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the Villages of Rye Brook and Port Chester.
As of Wednesday, Apr. 29, there were 147 confirmed cases of the virus in Rye Brook, which is 20 more than the week before. In Port Chester, there were 879 cases, an increase of 154.
Last week, the numbers went up by 204 in Port Chester and 24 in Rye Brook. The county does not receive a geographical breakdown of recoveries and deaths from the state.
In New York, there were more than 305,000 cases at press time, with over 28,000 of them coming from Westchester County. This week, the U.S. surpassed 1 million confirmed cases.
