Active cases of COVID-19 remain stable in town

The number of active cases of the novel coronavirus remains stable in Rye Town as of Wednesday, Aug. 19. There are two cases of the virus—an increase of one since last week—in Rye Brook. The Village has had a total of 191 cases.

In Port Chester, the active number remains at 15 for the second consecutive week. The municipality has had a total of 1,312 cases of COVID-19.

In New York, there had been almost 432,000 cases of the virus as of press time, with over 36,500 of them coming from Westchester.
