COVID-19 cases in town as of Wednesday, June 3

Rye Brook hit zero active cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, June 3. The community only had five active cases last week. The village has experienced a total of 174 cases.

Port Chester is approaching this milestone as well as they only had 36 active cases as of press time. The active number decreased by 44 since the week before. There has been a total of 1,218 people contracting the virus since its first recorded case.

In New York, there were over 378,000 total cases of the virus on Wednesday with over 33,000 of them coming from Westchester.

Next Tuesday, June 9, the Mid-Hudson region is slated to enter Phase 2 of reopening if it continues to maintain specified health metrics. By achieving this goal, businesses such as hair salons can reopen, and food establishments can resume outdoor dining.
