This week, Westchester County released data that showcases the active number of COVID-19 cases in each municipality.
In Port Chester, there are 198 active cases of the novel coronavirus out of an overall total of 1,053 the community has faced. The village’s total number increased by 174 since last week.
Currently, there are 17 active cases in Rye Brook, a community that has seen 170 cases so far. Their total increased by 23 cases since last week.
The county does not receive a geographical breakdown of recoveries and deaths from the state.
In New York, there were over 329,000 confirmed cases of the virus at press time, with over 30,000 of them coming from Westchester.
Some good news: more than 1 million people across the globe have recovered from the virus.
