COVID-19 cases continue creeping upwards in town

COVID-19 cases in Port Chester and Rye Brook have continued on an upward trajectory at a steady rate.

On Wednesday, Jan. 20, there were 423 active coronavirus cases in the Village of Port Chester, making for a cumulative total of 3,458. Last Wednesday, there were 406 reported infections.

In Rye Brook, according to Westchester County COVID-19 dashboard data, there were 99 cases across the Village as of press time—a slight increase compared to the 96 infections present last week. There have been a total of 685 cases in the Village.

The Westchester Medical Center is resuming its localized COVID-19 testing services in the Village of Port Chester. On Fridays, Jan. 22 and 29, testing will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Salvation Army at 36 Bush Ave.
