COVID-19 cases keep dropping; tests available every Friday in March

As COVID-19 cases continue plummeting, the Village of Port Chester dropped below 200 infections this week for the first time this year.
According to Westchester County COVID-19 dashboard data, there were 197 cases in Port Chester as of Wednesday, Mar. 11. Three weeks ago, 245 infections were reported. There has been a total of 4,292 cases in the Village.
There were 49 COVID-19 cases in Rye Brook as of press time, down slightly from the 51 infections reported three weeks ago. Cumulatively, 862 people have tested positive for the virus.
Every Friday in March, there will be COVID-19 testing services available at the Salvation Army at 36 Bush Ave. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are needed to get tested. Call 914-202-4530 to schedule a visit or go to wmchealthnetwork.tfaforms.net/256.
