There’s a new “walk in and get your COVID shot” location in Port Chester – and that’s the Costco Pharmacy at 1 Westchester Ave.

In keeping with Costco Wholesale’s policy nationwide, you do NOT have to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy’s services or to get your free COVID shot.

But allotments may change daily depending on the supplies in stock.

For example, last Saturday, the pharmacy was out of the Pfizer vaccine but had the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines in stock.

The pharmacy is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.

But a warning: the pharmacy closes for lunch from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Regular Costco shoppers, or first-time visitors, can see what COVID shots are available thanks to a handwritten “white board” poster at the main entrance.

Or, prospective vaccination patients can check on vaccine availability by brand by calling (914) 935-3103, choosing the “pharmacy” option, and then waiting until the call automatically rolls over to the first pharmacy attendant to pick it up.
