The Don Bosco Hawks Soccer Club will host a fundraiser car wash for their soccer academy Sat., Oct. 16, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Corpus Christ Church parking lot, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester. The parish’s soccer club provides the most affordable soccer program for the youth of Port Chester and surrounding towns. The teams are coached and managed by volunteers, and in a time where most youth sports are “pay to play,” they offer help to families in need. Proceeds will support the running of the club for 120+ young people. While they are only charging $5 per car, they see it as an event that will bring awareness to their program and will also allow them to build a bond with our community and friends.

Meals on Main Street (MOMS), also known as Caritas, and the Colony Grill will host the inaugural Miles for MOMS, a 1.5-mile fun run, Sun., Oct. 17. Runners will start at Walgreens (107 N. Main St.), run to the MOMS' building (509 N. Main St.) and back to the Colony Grill parking lot where there will be food, drinks and music to celebrate at the finish line. Rain or shine. Runners can register at mealsonmainstreet.org. $25 per adult; $20 per student (plus community service hours for participating); strollers are free.

BBHS Class of 2025 will have a fundraiser Mon., Oct. 18 at Chipotle, 100 S. Ridge St., Rye Brook, 4-8 p.m. Mention the Blind Brook Freshman Class when you order and 33% of the proceeds will be donated to the Class of 2025. You can order in person or online at the Chipotle app or on their website, www.chipotle.com, choose pickup and select the Rye Brook location.

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester will host a Harvest Moonlight Soirée, Thurs., Oct. 21, 6-9 p.m. at The Mansion at Crawford Park, 122 N. Ridge St., Rye Brook. Indoor & outdoor venue. Meteorologist Joe Rao will offer glimpses of the moon, stars and planets Jupiter and Saturn through his telescope on the mansion terrace. Enjoy wine and cocktail tastings provided by Tony Russo and Andrea Kish of Aries Wine & Spirits; appetizers, little plates and culinary offerings by Robin Marini of The Gourmet Taste and jazz music by Trifecta. There will also be an online silent auction and in person raffles. All proceeds will benefit CPW’s programs. Limited number of tickets. Autumn Seed Swap, co-hosted by the Village of Rye Brook and the Rye Brook Sustainability Committee, will take place Sun., Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. in Garibaldi Park. They will be prioritizing native seeds, but you are welcome to bring pollinator friendly seeds, vegetable seeds and plants to swap with other attendees as well. Envelopes and pens will be provided to split up seeds, or you can bring your own containers to use.

The Port Chester Council for the Arts, Inc. will present the 10th annual ART10573 art show and sale Sunday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. inside the Crawford Mansion Community Center, 122 N. Ridge St., Rye Brook. Visual artists from Port Chester, Rye Brook and surrounding communities will exhibit and sell their work in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, colored pencil, oil, textured art, jewelry, and fabric. Discover the amazing work of the talented artists living and working in the community. There will be live music and a raffle of small works by each artist to benefit the PCCFA’s Summer ArtsCamp. The Clay Art Center Hand in Hand Benefit & Auction will take place Sat., Oct. 16, 4-7 p.m. outdoors in front of the Clay Art Center at 40 Beech St., Port Chester. Tickets are on sale now. The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library has announced that registration is open for their October Grab and Go Halloween Craft. Sign up now by emailing [email protected] or by calling 914/939-6710; press 3. Grab and Go Halloween craft will be distributed from Oct. 18-30. Children will be given a bag with all of the pieces they need to make the craft.

Yoga in the Park with Jamie Maldonado at Crawford Park Mansion, 122 N. Ridge St., Rye Brook takes place every Sun., 9:30-10:30 a.m. All levels welcome.
