The Port Chester Housing Authority is issuing a Request for Qualifications for  Architectural/Engineering Services for Boiler Rehabilitation.

Responses will be accepted until 10AM on November 22, 2021.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

FUEL TANKS REPLACEMENT

VILLAGE OF PORT CHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester until December 2nd, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read out aloud for

“Fuel Tanks Replacement”

No bids will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.

Proposals that do not include an electronic format submission will not be considered.

This work consists of the full replacement of existing fuel tanks, fuel pump and piping, cast-in-place concrete, metal staircase and catwalk, canopies, and fire protection.

A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. Bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the project site before submitting bids.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on November 1st, 2021 and available on the Village’s web-page www.portchesterny.com/bids or in-person at the office during regular business hours.

A bid bond, certified check, or bank check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of all bids.

All requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than November 29th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

All proposals must be submitted by hard copy AND by electronic format (ex: CD or USB flash drive: E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

FUEL TANKS REPLACEMENT

The successful bidder will be required to timely provide performance and labor and material bonds in an amount equal to the bid award and to proceed to contract upon notice of the bid award.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities at its discretion, and to make such bid award that it deems is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Rye, New York will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, to consider a LOCAL LAW to Override the Tax Levy Limit Established in the General Municipal Law § 3-c for the 2022 Budget.

The Town Council will be meeting in person at the Crawford Mansion Community Center, 122 North Ridge Street, Rye Brook, New York. If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone, you can see the video and hear the audio of the live session on the Town of Rye’s Facebook Page. Interested persons are invited to attend and will be afforded the opportunity to be heard at that time when the Supervisor calls for Public Comments regarding the local law. Public comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.
