Rye Brook F.I.T (Fitness Initiative Together) is organizing a fun 5K walk around the Country Ridge area to support this community walking initiative Sat., Apr. 30 at 9:30 a.m. at BMP Ridge Street School, 390 N. Ridge St. There will be some giveaways for the free event. Stretch/Rye Book will do a group stretch prior to the walk and after the walk. They will also be taking names for potential walking groups among residents to create a feel of community because walking is always better when done with company. Cerebral Palsy Westchester, 1186 King St., Rye Brook will offer the Jimmy Vejar Summer Day Camp June 27-Aug. 12. It is an inclusive camp for children, teens and young adults with all abilities, ages 5-21.
