Family Services of Westchester (FSW) will be hosting an Early Education Program Job Fair for all people interested in learning about opportunities with their Head Start program in Port Chester. It will be held on Monday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 55 S. Main St. (GPS), 3rd Floor in Port Chester.

The organization is in urgent need of early childhood educators and staff. FSW is hiring for the roles of lead and assistant teachers, family advocate, mental health specialist and more. Details on the specific positions are available on their website at: www.fsw.org/job-fair. FSW offers a competitive salary, professional development, medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.

Head Start representatives will be present at the event to accept resumes, conduct interviews, and share information about job opportunities.

“Nurturing children’s development during their early years is one of the most rewarding careers,” said Polly Kerrigan, president and CEO of FSW. “We look forward to meeting those who share our passion for helping children learn and succeed.”

FSW’s Head Start and Early Head Start are federal government programs that were created to give infants and preschool children from low-income families a head start on their readiness for elementary school.
