The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library will present the PCRB Film Club Wed., Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The film chosen for this virtual session is “Weird Science” (1985). Teen misfits Gary and Wyatt design their ideal woman on a computer, and a freak electrical accident brings her to life in the form of the lovely, superhuman Lisa. Please watch the film on your own before the session. A limited number of copies are available at the library. The film is also available for streaming on Hulu and Amazon Prime. Virtual English Classes with Westchester Community College will be offered by the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library this winter. Morning classes Levels 3 & 4 will be Tues., Wed. & Thurs., Feb. 10-Apr. 13, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Evening classes Levels 3 & 4 will be Tues., Wed. & Thurs., Feb. 10-Apr. 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Placement exams will be Tues., Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. for morning class and Thurs., Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. for evening class.
