State Senator Shelley B. Mayer’s Youth Advisory Council will hold its 2nd Annual Coat and Diaper Drive Sat., Jan. 29, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Port Chester Village Hall. This drive-thru, drop off event will benefit The Sharing Shelf, an organization dedicated to fighting clothing insecurity in Westchester County. Donors are asked to remain inside their vehicles while making their donations. Masked volunteers will be on-site at Village Hall, 222 Grace Church St. to take donations directly from vehicles. The Port Chester Mobile Pantry will be at Drew Gardens, 10-22 Drew St., Port Chester Sat., Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. CDC guidelines will be followed to ensure community safety. The Mobile Pantry makes food more accessible in underserved neighborhoods where people may not be able to access food through traditional grocery stores or food pantries.
