Clay Art Center in Port Chester will present a Virtual Demo with Don Reynolds, Decoration Nation Tues., Jan. 25 at 7-8 p.m. This demonstration will focus on his techniques of layering colors of underglaze and wax to create crisp, colorful patterns on ceramic objects. The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library will present the PCRB Film Club Wed., Jan. 26, 7 p.m. via Zoom. The film chosen for this virtual session is “Weird Science” (1985). Teen misfits Gary and Wyatt design their ideal woman on a computer, and a freak electrical accident brings her to life in the form of the lovely, superhuman Lisa. Please watch the film on your own before the session. A limited number of copies are available at the library. The film is also available for streaming on Hulu and Amazon Prime. Morning classes Levels 3 & 4 will be Tues., Wed. & Fri., Feb. 10-Apr. 13, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Placement exam will be Tues., Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. Evening classes Levels 3 & 4 will be Tues.-Thurs., Feb. 10-Apr. 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Placement exam will be Tues., Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Cost: $22 via credit card at time of registration.
