The Port Chester-Rye Brook Rotary Club will host their 100-Year Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser Thurs., June 16, 6:30-9:30 p.m. in Rye Town Park—Oakland Beach Pavilion, 95 Dearborn Ave., Rye. The Town of Rye will host National Independence Day Juneteenth, Sat., June 18, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the African American Cemetery, 215 North St., Rye. The ceremony will be followed by a service project. Juneteenth is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. and honoring the culture and achievements of African Americans.

The Village of Rye Brook will hold a 40^th birthday celebration Sat., June 18, 12-4 p.m. at Crawford Park, 122 N. Ridge St. Come for an afternoon of family fun! Volunteers are needed. Again this year, there will be a food drive. Please bring canned goods with you on the day of the event.
