2022-2023 VILLAGE OF RYE BROOK TAX

 This is a notice to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Village of Rye Brook that the Village Tax Bill has been mailed. If you haven’t received your bill, please contact the Tax Office. The first installment must be paid by June 30, 2022. If payment is not received by that date, a mandatory, non-waivable penalty of 2% will be added for the month of July and will increase monthly thereafter.

For your convenience, there are three ways for you to make payments.

1. You may mail your check in the envelope provided. Be sure to include the bottom portion of the bill. If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box on the stub. Payments must be postmarked by the U. S. Post Office no later than June 30, 2022 to avoid the penalty.

2. You may also drop your payment in the special secure locked box outside the building at 222 Grace Church St. Port Chester. If you request a receipt, please include the entire bill and we will stamp the top portion and mail it back to you. There is no postage required.

3. You may pay on line. You may pay by credit card. (Be advised that there is a fee.) You may also pay by electronic transfer e-check (ACH). Check the back of the bill for instructions. You may also check our web site for instructions to pre-set your payment date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Rye Brook shall hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 7:30pm, at Village Hall, 938 King Street, Rye Brook, New York to consider a proposed local law concerning videoconferencing public meetings . The meeting will be available in person, on Cable TV, and live streamed on the Village website. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR

TAXICAB INSPECTIONS

RFP #2022-07

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Port Chester, New York in the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, for qualified firms to inspect taxicabs for license by the Village.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk, Port Chester, New York between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except legal holidays) or may be accessed from the Village of Port Chester’s website at www.portchesterny.gov. Proposals must be received by the Village Clerk’s Office by 3:00 p.m. local time on July 5, 2022, after which time and date no proposals will be accepted.

All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked:

“Taxicab Inspections”- RFP 2022-07”

Proposals shall be typed and signed by proposer's authorized representative. One (1) hard copy original and one (1) electronic copy of the proposal shall be provided. For electronic submissions, all documentation should be housed within a new, unused USB/ “thumb drive” clean and free from other data, virus, or malware.

E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference

No proposer may withdraw his/her proposal within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of the proposal.

If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP, or if additional data or information is necessary to clarify any of its provisions, a written addendum will be issued.

The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any irregularities in the proposals received, select any proposal as the basis for negotiations and to make an award to the most qualified proposal that is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SPRAY FOAM INSULATION OF THE DPW GARAGE BUILDING

VILLAGE OF PORT CHESTER

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester until July 14th, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read out aloud for

“Spray Foam Insulation of the DPW Garage Building”

No bids will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.

Proposals that do not include an electronic format submission will not be considered.

This work consists of the insulation of the exterior walls, foundation wall, and roof deck ridge to top plate along with the removal of all protective plastic.

A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. Bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the project site before submitting bids.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on June 22, 2022 and available on the Village’s web page www.portchesterny.com/bids or in-person at the office during regular business hours.

A bid bond, certified check, or bank check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of all bids.

All requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than July 11, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

All proposals must be submitted by hard copy AND by electronic format (ex: CD or USB flash drive: E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

The successful bidder will be required to timely provide performance and labor and material bonds in an amount equal to the bid award and to proceed to contract upon notice of the bid award.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities at its discretion, and to make such bid award that it deems is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.
