OF THE 2022

TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that as of June 1, 2022 (close of business), the Assessor of the Town of Rye, County of Westchester, will have completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for 2022.  At that time, the Assessment Roll will be available on the Town’s website at www.townofryeny.com.  It may also be reviewed during business hours (8:30am-4:00pm) from June 2 to June 21, 2022, at the Assessor’s Office, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, NY. 

Any grievances against assessments must be filed with the Assessor not later than the third Tuesday in June.  On said Tuesday (June 21, 2022), the Board of Assessment Review shall meet in the Village of Port Chester Conference Room, 1st Floor, 222 Grace Church St., Port Chester, NY, between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, to consider applications that have been filed on or before June 21, 2022.  Appointments are necessary.  To make an appointment, information can be found on the Assessment Department homepage on or after June 1, 2022:  https://www.townofryeny.com/departments/assessment-office.

No grievances will be accepted after June 21, 2022 (even with a postmark of June 21, 2022). Note that the Town Offices will be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022 to observe the Juneteenth Holiday.

The Board of Assessment Review will continue to meet at such time or times as may be deemed necessary and appropriate to consider and determine the grievances against the assessments filed on or before June 21, 2022.

The Assessor will be in attendance with such Tentative Assessment Roll at her office,
