Geneva L. McCrae-Chance: Former retail worker

Geneva L. McCrae-Chance, 62, died Oct. 24, 2022 at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle.
Living in New Rochelle at the time of her death, she was born July 13, 1960 in Lumberton, N.C. to Jesse and Rosella McCrae.
Geneva, who was affectionately called “Gen” by her family and friends, was educated in the Port Chester school system and worked in retail for many years.
She married Terry Chance in 1986 and together they had four loving children: Takita, Teosha, Tyvaris and Jasmine and seven grandchildren: Ricki, Zaris, Isis, Tyanna, Ayva-Sophia, Douglas III and Isaiah.
Home going services will be held Sat., Nov. 5, 9 a.m. viewing; 11 a.m. service, at Girtman Memorial Church of the Living God, 5 New Broad St., Port Chester.
